Meet Our Team
Diane developed the idea for MomSub while feeling overwhelmed spending hours a day driving her kids to school and activities while trying to manage projects at work and home. She wanted a better way to find local moms and other caregivers who could help with carpools, child care, camaraderie and emotional support. After interviewing more than 100 moms about their biggest challenges, she discovered so many struggled to arrange and manage the right child care for their family.
Diane loves getting to know the stories of the moms who join MomSub and sharing their successes with our community. She first pursued her passion for learning about others by becoming a journalist, and went on to work for media companies ranging from CBS in Milwaukee to the Daily News in Los Angeles.
Diane discovered her entrepreneurial spirit after starting a side hustle for extra money. She eventually ran several of her own companies: a real estate investment firm, a lawn sign business and a video production studio.
Diane is a Chicago native who loves to host pub trivia, dance, bike ride, watch her husband's band and play games with her son and daughter. She fulfilled a life-long dream sitting in the bleachers of Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs win game 5 on their way to capturing their first World Series championship in 108 years.
Diane now dreams of a day that every mother who feels frustrated can turn to MomSub for inspiration, encouragement and help from a nearby mom. She believes in the power of positivity and persistence to achieve her goals. "If the Cubs can do it, I can do it!" is her motto.
Kailash joined the founding team at MomSub because of his desire to offer his leadership skills to help founders catapult their start-ups to the next level. He understands the demands on parents who face challenges as they strive to provide the best for their families.
Kailash is dedicated to protecting the privacy and safety of MomSub members as the primary developer of the code for our initial playdate app. He spent his career as a cyber security expert, conducting detailed security assessments to identify gaps and develop remediation plans for companies ranging from PriceWaterhouseCoopers to Pacific Gas & Electric.
Kailash comes from a family of doctors who went beyond treating patients to establishing hospitals to provide care to underserved communities. That spirit of giving he inherited blossomed when he moved from India to Silicon Valley and began consulting for entrepreneurs who desperately needed his technical guidance.
Kailash is a devoted father and nationally ranked martial artist. He also loves to share his passions by teaching karate and fixing cars for his neighbors in the East Bay.
Kailash has two degrees: both a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and a master of business administration. He is fluent in six languages, but it is also his understanding of different cultures that endears him to others.
Liz joined the team at MomSub to share her parenting experiences in the hopes of easing the stress of other moms who may be facing similar battles. She loves to spread the message that raising kids is easier when you are part of a community of moms helping moms.
Liz is eager to help organize and participate in MomSub events. She is an enthusiastic administrator who has excelled at providing key support for business owners in the real estate and insurance industries.
Liz is a natural fit for a growing company that needs team members who can wear many hats. She is adept at staying calm while jumping in to offer great service and solve any crisis.
Liz grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago where she is raising her own three children. Her style of empowering her two sons and daughter to make their own decisions has allowed them to develop a maturity and confidence beyond their years.
Liz enjoys traveling and spending time with her fiance, family and friends. She seeks to connect with others on a deeper level through small group sessions at her Christian church.
