It all sounds great, but what does MomSub actually do?
MomSub collects information from moms like you about when they are available to drive or watch someone else's kids and when they are in need of someone to drive or watch their kids.
MomSub makes the connection between the MomUsers who need help and the MomSubs who can step in to take over.
It costs $1 per child per hour, but the stress relief is priceless!
I’ve seen other groups with similar purposes. What makes yours the best?
There are many apps, websites and services that provide you with information about babysitters, nannies and daycare centers, but those child care providers usually charge $15 to $20 per hour and are often young women who are not mothers. MomSub costs $1 per child per hour and always offers you other moms in your neighborhood who understand the challenges of motherhood and the latest research about safety and health for children.
Is this a babysitting swapping service?
MomSub is similar to a babysitting co-op, but you aren't limited to just a few people you know. It's great for moms who don't have family or many friends nearby or don't want to bother other parents with texts and emails trying to set up carpools, playdates and favors. It doesn't require you to do any organizing or planning. Just enter your information, and we'll find a MomSub for you who is available now.
I'm ready to sign up! When can I get it?
MomSub is currently being offered through a pilot program in Naperville, Illinois. The app is in development and will be available for free download in the App Store and Google Play by the end of the year. Simply submit your info HERE to be one of the first moms to get it!
